Motion as Brand Language: Telling the Story of Miory’s Identity System

Motion Storytelling for the Miory Brand
Approach To simplify the complexity of the story, I structured the narrative from broad context to specific details, mapping the full creative journey behind the development of the Miory brand identity. I divided the content into thematic chapters that guided the viewer through the evolution of the project — from early strategic ideas to the final visual system and implementation. I developed a visual storytelling approach rooted directly in the branding system itself. Using the modular identity and its 3x3 grid structure as a compositional foundation, I created a cohesive motion language flexible enough to support different types of content while maintaining consistency across scenes. The pacing and animation style reflected the character of the identity: minimal, precise and structured. I balanced high-energy sequences with calmer storytelling moments and used dynamic yet readable typography animation to maintain engagement without sacrificing clarity. Impact The final video helped communicate the value and vision behind the Miory identity in a way that felt accessible, modern and emotionally connected to the region itself. Following the launch, the festival associated with the regional initiative saw a 200% increase in visitors, while local crafters and community members positively responded to the stronger and more recognizable visual identity created around the region.
